Rear seat Sub
I think they are, I got them from bestbuy for like $100 or so. I wish I had some interior pictures to show you the inside, both subs are connected in airspace and ran in parallel. I've had no problems to date. One thing though is make sure you get all of the saw dust out of the inside, I've heard of peoples subs blowing because they didn't clean it out well, I didn't but I might just be lucky
If you are able to find that thread, thatd be awesome. And no im not that great at building to be honest haha. Question about the rear seat subs, So i'm assuming you dont run the subs when people are seated in your back seat?
thew whole point of a box that fits under the seat would be so you CAN use the seat...
Yea, the under seat design takes up the useless space under the rear seat. That way you can still use the actual seat. Vibrations are not that big of a deal as you might think with the passengers sitting in it, some might enjoy it
I got a custom box to fit under the back for $79.99, i didnt feel like it was that expensive. But i had a buddy that had just a generic shallow mount box & subs, an all he did was take out the tray underneath the back seat an put 1" wooden blocks on the seat mount to lift the back seat up, an his fit perfect. Just a thought

When you build a sub box MDF is the prefered wood to use. I use at least 3/4" but thats all you can get a local lowes or home depot. Those look like the regular kicker comp series, black and yellow. The solo barics are square. The pre built boxes just waste alot of room that could be used. If you're running two subs in the same airspace you can add the cu ft requirements and knock off 30%. If you do that most 12's will have plenty of airspace if you built a box to use all the room. As said before, some subs just work better in small spaces than others.
