Mine had almost 3/4" slop in it at 134000 miles.

How would u line the marks up so the timing is not off....

Look at FSM....remove cover - look at FSM - put socket on crank bolt......look at FSM.....turn bolt to line up timing marks of sprockets....Mya have to turn more than one rev.

Then you can pull sprockets and chain. DO NOT move crank or cam...

Its not too bad, I just did it yesterday. It probably took me 6 or 7 hours. I had some trouble getting the fan clutch removed and crank pulley/harmonic balancer off (its a one piece on my truck) but those were the only hitches. I haven't started it yet, I still need to change the oil. Hopefully I did it right!!

good point... with all the text slang he was using it probably was from a phone..but you cant tell these days...The younger generation has a real problem using english when writing... I hear about it all the time from an English teacher friend...

Using a phone to communicate surely is not an excuse for misspelling and grammar is it? No, I'm not saying you're stating that. I agree with you.

Mopar has a double roller timing chain.
