Ball joints were recently replaced. When I push on the shock, I can feel clunking sound when holding upper mount.

That's what I gotta do thanks. Any ideas for belt noise? Belt was replaced last year. Its only noisy in the winter. I was putting some type of spray on it that took away noise last winter. I forget
what it was though.

You may want to check to see how many ribs are on the belt...and how many grooves on belt. I have read that others had differences that caused problems. Then check all pulley algnment and make sure they are all properly aligneded. A small misalignment will cause problems. Also check tensioner to make sure there is no wobble in it from a worn bearing.

what kind of noise? squeaks or clicking?

the best first step is to rotate the tensioner over toward the center of the motor and release the belt. then rotate and twist each pulley by hand checking for smooth and quiet rotation and zero twist. tensioner pulley or idler pulley is easily replaceable. check rockauto and amazon for best price.

for the belt - get the more expensive premium belt from goodyear or dayco. don't get the cheap one.

if tensioner is not holding it real tight, replace the tensioner assy.

I finally got the chance to tighten with wrench, one full turn. No more thumping sound. Thank you!
