Exclamation dodge clunk

Im still new to this site and Having problems once again with my 99 dodge ram. The steering was just fixed alignment all great. NO slack or any movement with steering components. I have a clunk sound when going over bumps. on smooth roads its great. the shocks have no more than 5,000 miles on them. if i press on the left front fender i hear it. i also hear it if i push up on the fender. could it be my strut mount?

The lower shock mount torques to like 90-100 ft lb's or something crazy like that. Check those and it could also be control arm bushings but I'm guessing the shock mounts. Did it do this before the new shocks?

No it didn't make the noise before the shocks Were put on. So do you think I should have that side re-torqued? I don't use it for hauling or off road either.

Yeah, hit it with an impact wrench. Your noise will go away.

I dont have access to an impact wrench at home. i tried using a wrench just to see if it moves and the bolt spins with the nut. I'm assuming that's normal because the other side does also. wouldn't the bolt also spin with nut when using an impact wrench?

Gotta put a wrench on the other side, to hold it in place.

Probably not your exact problem but front sway bar links on my 01 Ram 1500 4x4 were WORN out and when I would roll on a parking lot it sounded like someone beating a hammer on the front axle. Cheap DIY fix too.
