Even being different, if you would have read it, it does say how the rotor comes off. Oh, and heres another https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen-ram-tech/105894-98-2500-4x4-front-rotor-removal.html
FWIW, the title of the thread is rather useless for any FUTURE SEARCHES

When I did mine I backed out the four bolts on the hub assembly about 1/2" then used an extension and socket on the bolt head and had a helper turn the steering wheel so the extension hits the axle then turn the steering wheel using the power steering as yet another helper the hub assembly should push out of the steering knuckle. It is kind of hard to explain, once you look at it while turning the steering wheel it should become apparent how to do this. This said, it worked like a dream. You have to take it slow though, try not doing too much at once. Back out the bolts a bit, turn the steering wheel, turn the bolts out a bit more, etc...
Hope this helps... You want to avoid having to buy new bearing units at all cost..

I did say how to remove the rotors didn't I? LOL Even so, the older models are different. And although some of the stuff in the free FSM 2001 download is the same back to 98, this is not one of them. That's why the Haynes will help.
