Ah, didn't get that you got the injectors for the miss issue.

Did you replace the wires? I had a miss and it was because a wire was toasted with a crack on the underside of the wire (hidden from the naked eye). I used an extra coil wire to hold me over until I got a new set.

I did... also new cap, rotor and plugs also as well as a crank position sensor.. and headers because the drivers side where I had the misfire was cracked (likely from the transmission guy prying on the exhaust to get it clear of the tranny when he pulled it because he didnt want to take any of it apart for fear it would leak so he told me). I did use my timing gun also to look at the contistence of the spark and it was fine.
I pulled the valve cover and the springs looked fine..I didnt know How to test for a bad lifter at the time (now I do with a screw driver) So will be doing that again..
I also leakdown tested cylinder 1 twice also and everything was fine so?

Are you getting enough fuel though?

Gotta be missing something there..... compression, fuel, or spark. Leakdown was good, so, it shouldn't be compression, you verified consistent spark via your timing light, that leaves either the plug itself, or, fuel.....

well I just put the original injectors back in after spraying out the srcreens with carb cleaners.... all cylinders are firing now but I only ran it in the driveway...I changed the oil and I can see the #1 stainless header pipe off that cylinder is now changinging color like the others did and it doesnt smoke anymore.... what gets me is it ran great all the way up until it warmed up and about five munutes after it was fully warmed up I reved it and the fuel trim went from -6 to positive 25 and stayed there just like with the other injectors..WTF...then its started idling rough...I'm heading to the gas station to get more fuel and then test driving it... I'll report back.
I did clean all the plugs off too...

No more misfire!!....

its running good besides the fuel trim going nuts and my 02 sensors being off...I thing that may be due to fouled 02 sensors when it was soo rich...they were black and I sprayed them with carb cleaner but it had little effect.... I have an extra one I'm gonna throw in in the morning and test it out...

I'm not positive what fixed it... either replacing the cracked header which I did when the other injectors that ran so rich were installed or the oil change with the engine restore...(I doubt the restore had much effect on anything but I honestly cant say.) I did clean the filters in all the injectors so maybe one of them was fouled...

Your fuel trims will settle after a few hundred miles... It's trippin' out now due to environmental variables and what its learned recently..

Those o2's are important though.. if they're fouled, you're sol... Carb cleaner may have been a bad idea..

they were reading the same before and after the carb cleaner.... its weird since they seem to read ok and then after about 10minutes and a good 5 minutes after the thing goes closed loop I get wacked out readings all at once... I did disconnect the battery and turn the lights on for a minute or so before driving it...
I have like three other sets of injectors the seller sent me to try but they are all 19 lbs and I think they will be too small... the 703's should have worked not sure why they didnt.. all the injector sites say they have the same ohms load and almost the same flow rates?
