deep dish rims?
Ok so I bought these wagon wheels today there like the cragar ds.From the edge of the wheel to the bolt hole its about 5 or 6 inches so there kinda deep are these bad to run?Someone just told me so.The guy I got em from had huge tires on em so Im conmfused.
How huge? Sizes? These would help. Wheel sizes, rim size, that kind of thing.
Maybe keep things in one thread as well. This and the shock question could have been asked in your wheels and tires thread...since this is Im guessing pertaining to the wheels

ok didnt think about it before I posted guess I coulda just edited it in there. My bad.
wagon wheel? You are referring to white spokes? Anyway, thats like right in the middle of the wheel. I am not sure on everything about what wheels and tires will fit and etc. But I am pretty sure they will run on your truck. I only have a Dakota so I dont know how wide you can go or anything like that. But the backspacing you are describing shouldnt put any more than normal load on anything.
Ask good questions, give good details, and you will get good answers. Not saying my answer is good or the best. But learn some, think some, and teach yourself some. You will learn who to listen to and who not to listen to.
Also this gets me every once in awhile. They look so deep dish because just like on my Dakota. The wheels are aluminum and have a thick design to them that makes them look like it bolts towards the outside of the wheel. But the lug nuts are sunk in and its about in the middle of the wheel. Im not sure what rims you have on your Ram but I am suspecting this could be the culprit.

5 or 6 inches on a ten inch wide wheel is about right for backspacing. Stock is 4.5 inches on a 7.5 inch wide wheel......
Expect some rub on the control arms at full lock with wide tires though.

Well to start off there steel rims by your description so they should fit your truck....flip the rim over and get the backspacing measurement(from center to edge of rim, use something to lay across rim to get a good measure
