Throttle position sensor. If it is getting erratic, it will cause TCC to 'bounce'.... (engage/disengage fairly quickly)

uh, if you have no shifting problems changing the soleniod isnt going to fix anything....I suggest you take it to a shop.... If your rpm's are surging when its not shifting you may have bands way out of adjustment or a torque converter about to fail...

I'm assuming you are asking about the TPS that HeyYou was talking about. The TPS is located on the throttle body.

Test it with ohmeter as indicated in FSM. If it is bad, replace it. Reading should be smooth and consistent.

I am stranded in Bozeman ,MT with a tcc problem myself.....no shops fix on weekends . I heard that changing the fluid was a terrible idea, and it might be the cause.
Regardless, hopefully it doesnt break the bank :-/
