Front End Problem and headlight issue
#12
I've found a few full assemblies on the internet. How likely is it that these are straight? Is it easy to bend the tubes and axles? I've never off-roaded hard or banged it that I remember. Also, is it possible to just change the tubes and axles with the differential still on the truck? I'll just need new seals right?
If you pulled the axles and tubes off differential, there would be nothing holding the differential. It would be easier to just swap them out - except for changing to you gears you added.
If it is pulling to the right, the alignment should have showed something. Might want to measure to make sure axles are parallel.

Agood alignment shop should be able to fix most of that. Camber is only adjustable with balljoints, caster is adjustable at the lower control arms. If both sides are not adjusted the same for caster, it introduces a 'twist' to the axle, and all sorts of interesting problems can crop up.

I don't have them on my truck. I know the caster is adjustable. What I'm saying is that it is adjusted as far as it will go toward where it needs to be, but it's still way out. I didn't think camber was adjustable without adjustable ball joints. The ball joints are 3 months old. It fixed a lot of the camber problem, but it's still there. It was AWFUL before.
