Default Sandblasting bumpers

I was wondering if i sand blast my bumpers on my truck if i could put bed liner on them. They are chrome and i didnt know if the chrome would come off or if i could go over it if not

You could conceivably blast off the chrome..... might be easier to acid etch it though...

all i did was rough up the chrome a little with heavy grit before i bedlined my bumpers. turned out purdy good me thinks

For the media use 40/70 fine glass,I just blasted some chrome exhast pipes for a knuckle with some black diamond sand but I like glass or aluminum oxide.Sometimes the sand wont get it.But since your putting on the bl I would just rough it up&put it on instead of blasting.Soda&wanut wont get it btw.
