I think a lot of the MPG's on these trucks is dependent on how they're driven more then anything.

I've not got a lead food and usually see pretty good gas mileage, I run OD Off around town and leave it off till around 60-65MPH and then turn OD back On and will turn it back off when necessary.

True. I drive mine hard all the time. and When i baby it I seem to get the same mileage as driving more aggresivley on the throttle. I think your truck gets used to your constant driving conditions. And to the OP I hope oreillys took care of ya. I work at one here in Ak and weseem to be pretty helpful to locals.

I got an email from Daniel from thefastman.com. It looks like the 02 SIM is out of stock and will not be back in stock for one to two weeks. Since I am driving the Ram I really do not want to have to wait two weeks. Does anyone know if there is another source for the 02 SIM?

Non foulers are available at your local parts store....... and are much cheaper, and will prolly solve your issue as well.

I would prefer to get the sim. I just don't want to wait 2 weeks.

A New high flow cat is only $68 bucks? What are you hoping to accomplish in paying more to bypass something that can actually aid in performance and scavenging effect and dare I say it and sound like a tree hugger but reduce emissions dumped into the air to boot?
I had a replaced a cat I didnt even know was gutted and I for one noticed a performance GAIN at the bottom end.... and Better fuel trim numbers resulting in better mpg...
the ypipe is the restriction you want to address not the cat...if you have the older 2 in 1 cat/y pipe then just replace it with a high flow unit and kill two birds with one stone... I like to for once see someone actually post dyno numbers before and after gutting or removing a good high flow cat...

To be completely honest, I just assumed having it removed would improve performance/mpg along with sound. But also, if I wanted to add one back, since what i've got is a true dual exhaust now, wouldn't I have to get a cat for each side?

I don't, but with fastman being backordered, thought I would google and see what was out there.
