Default '95 2WD Ram 1500 shakes truck

Hey guys I need a little help with my truck...When i bought this thing I ended up up putting new, pitman arm, Idler arm, and steering box on it. It's got a 3" body lift on it with 18' tires and wheels. In the last week I got the front end realigned and put new inner and outer tie rod ends on it and the sterring box was adjusted cause I had 2 inches of play in the steering wheel.
When I picked it up my wife and I went out of town and everything that was done to it seemed to help until we got down the road about 30 miles and I started feeling a slight vibration coming from the front end that felt like it was the road causing it, no big deal right...wrong. It started getting worse and by the time we got back home that night I could only go around 50mph or it would shake until I slowed down to about 40mph.
The next day we headed out of town again and it seemed to be running pretty good just a minor shake in it that was like the night before. I was going 65 and after about 15 miles I turning right around curve in the highway and it started shaking and got more violent to the point my whole truck was shaking and I had to stop before I wrecked. I could only drive 40-45 mph the whole way home, and when I turned right into our driveway it felt like the front end skipped like i hit a rock but it has done that alot since. I looked the entire front end over for anything that might cause it but nothing. Can anybody help?
I took it back to the shop and they said it didn't do that on him

Any chance a wheel weight could have gotten knocked loose? An out of balance wheel(s) would explain your symptoms.

I would check everything to make sure it is tight. Lug nuts, everything. And them saying it did not do that on them is BS. It did not do it with you either - right away. make them drive it (and ride along). If something comes unwound, somebody can get hurt!

I'm gonna guess the shocks are done for. Replace 'em.

does the shake stop when you hit the overdrive button? a bad shudder that starts around 45mph when the tcc locks up can be a misfire in the engine...it doesnt alway spring a code or light... I working on that problem right now...
I really doubt its shocks...they dont usually cause a shudder or vibration when they go bad. the truck is just bouncy when you hit a bump and cornering feels loose on the road.
I'd say something is loose like wheelbearing or seriously out of alignment if it isnt a misfire issue...

Check that everything is tight first!!!! If a wheel comes off, the rest really doesn't matter. Take it back to where the work was done. Thye should stand behind their work - and NOT "WAY" behind it. There could be some serious liability here, as well as more damage to your truck.

This is exaggerated, but do your front tires look like this?

I checked everything and I didn't find anything loose I've jacked up both front and back so wheels were off the ground to check if I had any extra play in the tires and I I didn't find anything in the front end but I did notice some play in the rearend. When I pull or push on the rear tires I have about a 1/4 inch of play moving in and out, but I was told that was normal. It has a brand new limited slip posi rear end that has about 4000 miles on it. The shocks were replaced about 10 months ago and hasn't been driven on rough roads. This truck is really irritating because I washed some mud off of the inside of the rims and another test drive and it felt and sounded like the rear end was gonna fall apart. I'm not wondering if most of my problem is in the rear end or tranny. I got it home and I have noticed that when I come to a stop and take off there is a loud pinging like the fan is hitting the shroud but it don't happen all the time so I got home put it in drive held the brake and when I step on the gas I heard the pinging sound again but it doesn't do it unless I'm in gear. There is no sign that I have lost a wheel weight. The truck still wobbles and it seems to drift back and forth when I go anywhere between 50 and 65 mph and most of the wobble I feel is in my seat so I'm really baffled to what is wrong which it's frustrating me cause I've never been this stumped about a vehicle. I'm sorry if I'm being a nuisance but I really don't want something bad to go wrong and somebody get hurt this thing even scares me to drive anywhere but in town. Thanks

Call me crazy but I wouldn't think there should be any play back and forth on the wheels, but I could be wrong.

Also, is it a limited slip or a posi (locked) rear end? There is a difference.

You could pull the cover off the rear pumpkin and inspect the gears and whatnot. Just gotta get some fluid to fill her back up.

Some in/out play is normal for a c-clip rear axle. (which is what the half tons have.)

Have a look at your engine/trans mounts. When you brake torque the motor, in gear, it will move some on the mounts, if any of the mounts are bad, it will move a bunch more.... and possibly allow things to make contact, that really shouldn't.....
