Default Is it safe to add a body lift to an already lifted truck?

Hey guys I got a 97 ram 2500 and it currently has a 2" lift (read add a leaf and front coil spacers) I am looking into buying a 3" body lift is it safe to do it with the lift? Also are these hard to put on? I notice in the instructions it has you disconnecting a lot and adding parts?.?.?. thanks guys

A lotta folks use a small suspension lift with a body lift as well. (and some folks have a fair bit of suspension lift, and use a body lift too.....) So that works just fine. (I am not a fan of body lifts though....)

You are lifting the body, but, leaving the drivetrain in place.... so, somethings gotta get moved to prevent things like the fan eating the shroud, and other such problems. Installing a B/L is time consuming, and tedious, but, not really difficult. (provided the bolts are all actually willing to come out. )

Well when I put on my side steps they came out fairly easy but 1 bolt did snap off in the nut in the body... .Will this cause a problem?

One may or may not become an issue. If you get more than one broken bolt, that would make me nervous.

If you can, hit 'em with chems for a day or so before you actually try and break 'em loose.
