Default Truck Stalling

Hello, I have a 97 4x4 5.9 105 k I have a stalling issue when I come to a stop. I replaced the IAC disconnected the battery both +and - . for about 10 min. Still the problem persist. What is weird is one drive it's fine the next its stalling again. I'm going to the auto parts store in a bit to get some brass battery terminals as I have been having a hell of a time getting them to stay tight. And I have heard and read this could assist in my problem. I need some advise on what to look for so I can get this fixed . Also I cleaned the IAC port with throttle body cleaner. I did bring back the first one thinking it may have been defective The (IAC) and still stalling. Thanks Ron

Does it stall straight away when you come to a stop, or after a couple minutes of driving? My 2000 did that, it was the crank sensor.

Seems right away. As soon as u let off gas at light. Or while starting it up.

My 01 Ram did this and turned out to be the MAP sensor... Not bad enough to cause the CEL to come on but same symptoms...

Nope, was a consistent non idling problem. Always had to give it gas when coming to a slow down or stop...

Default New IAC and Map.

Replaced the IAC and Map sensor yesterday.. I know I should have done the code check first .. Still stalling . So I actually drove the truck there and had them do a code read.It popped a P0505 . ( bad IAC) Well I dont get it that is the second one thought I might have just got a bad one first go around.. I have taken the Neg cable off before the install of the IAC and turned the key forward .. Well every time I've put the cable back on it did not reset the PCM . Today after I installed the 2nd New IAC I had them reset it.. As soon as I started the truck the light was still on... What you guys think..

Wiring issue. Check the connectors at the pcm. Bet they are corroded.
