Motor mounts are in the wrong spot.

Won't bolt to your current trans. (not that the current trans would survive long behind the torque a big block generates....)

PCM won't run it. Depending on year of the truck, have to do something about the gauges as well.

If you have emissions testing/inspection where you live, it will never pass.

Now, if you DON'T have inspections, and such.... you could do the big block of your choice, with a manual trans, and t-case (if you are 4x4) out of an older truck.... dump all the electronics, and install new gauges etc, and be right down the road. Build the engine right, and you can have a torque monster. It won't be cheap, and it won't be easy, and some fab work WILL be required. (engine mounts, trans mounts, and probably driveshafts, at the very minimum.)
