Default 2WD Coil Spacer Install Cost

So, i have 3 in coil spacers for my ram. I do not have all the tools like a ball joint press to install them myself. So, a few days ago i go around town getting quotes (Biggest waste of my time in my life). This one place Trucks Unique wants $800 PER SIDE!!! Seriously? Is there any other options for installing these? thanks

Yea, buy the tools needed to do the job. Then you will have them.

+1 it's not very hard to do. You don't need a ball joint press to put the spacers in. If you wanted to replace them anyway just rent the tool. It's usually free from advance or autozone.

Yea that's ridiculous. Just do it yourself with a few hand tools. You don't need a pro to install one. Just look at what your taking apart and put it back the same way.

Pretty simple to put spacers in rent a spring compressor and it's really easy. A couple hours max

I'll do it for 700 a side lol. I didn't even use a spring compressor. Just drop the a arm enough to get it out and use a floor Jack.

Holy Sh*t!!! In this state, it'd get the guy thrown in jail for gouging (yep gouging a customer is against the law in Florida).

Before I went to 3" lift coils on my Grand Cherokee I had 2" spacers and it took me about 2 hours to do all four corners. Spring compressors are cheap, I got my set for like $49 at a local tool fair, but most auto parts stores will lend them for free. You can also use a big C clamp to do it...
