You can get a magnaflow direct fit. It is not that expensive. Belive you me that is the best mod for these trucks. With that mileage you need it anyway. I had a similar problem when driving into a head wind. I don't anymore
Well, i just re checked my plugs, They were abit tight. And out of gap. (Friend messed them up when he checked them) so i regapped and fixed them right. The backfiring isnt as bad now, but there's water coming out of the exuast, What does that mean?

Is it water(as in condensation) or antifreeze? What does it smell like?
You have bigger problems. Either cracked head, or at least, a blown headgasket. I doubt it is as simple as a bad intake gasket. Need to do a compression check first.
I Will save the trouble, and just wait till the 9th and buy my gaskets, Then i'll just replace them and check the heads. 80 bucks isnt bad for all the gaskets.
