Default My new 2500 4x4...

I thought i would post up some pictures of my new edition. I've always wanted a 4x4 2nd Gen Cummins but i found this gasser on a local site for pretty cheap. It needs a little TLC and i wish the PO wouldn't have put bedliner on the bottom panels but i'll probably just roll some more over it to freshen it up.

I think i got the transmission issues worked out. Ordered a new PCM today. Hopefully that will get it rolling down the road.

I originally bought it to make a quick flip but its kinda growing on me. I don't really have a need for two rams but i think i'll keep it for now.

It came with a ton of paperwork. It had a new motor put in about 30k ago. Transmission and rearend rebuild in 2010. I have no idea why it needed so much work but at least its all fresh.

I've got a set of 3rd gen rims i'd like to put on it with some mud grips. Anyone have any pics of 2nd gens with 3rd gen 8 lugs on it?

Sweet looking truck! It looks like it sits pretty tall, but that's probably due to stock sized tires on a v8 2500.

Yeah it is pretty tall. Definitely need some bigger tires. I'm 6'4 and its weird having to almost climb up in one. Even weirder getting in the 1500 after getting out of that one.

The 3rd gen lugs won't work on the 2nd gen studs. Unless you're truck has bigger studs then mine you're gonna have to go buy some.

But you're truck is a 2500 so it could be different
