Hi there, I have a 2000 Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L truck, and it has been driving fine for ever. But one day, I try to start it, and it won't start. The only way it will start, is if you give it a little bit of gas, and if you let off the gas, it dies out. It doesn't shake or do anything I guess that it shouldn't seem to be doing. Anyone know what this could be?

 

Bad Throttle position sensor, or sticking IAC valve. Clean the throttle body first, see if that doesn't help. Do we have a DIY for this in the FAQ Section???

Did the battery die?.....I so it can take a little while for it to idle on its own
