Default 2001 off road rim question

Some back round on my truck. 2001 Ram with off road package. Wanted to level truck and didn't want to use spacers so I installed a 3" lift on the front only. Also installed Skyjacker adjustable upper and lower arms and an adjustable track bar. This allowed me to recenter the front axle after raising the vehicle. Been running 35x12.50x17 on stock rims for a few years and have no issues. Just a slight rub on the lower arm on a full turn. Been looking into putting some 9 inch wide rims on the truck, have one 35x12.50x17 on an aftermarket wheel with about a +2mm offset, use as a spare. Tire no longer rubs lower arm but rubs the front mudflap, no big deal. Was looking at a set of 2010 ram 20x9 wheels and putting a set of 35's on them. Now for my question, will I rub? If so where? The truck is not a hard off road truck. Will see bad weather such as snow and the beach so the 20's won't be bad.

Sad day to see putting 20" rims on an ORE. Sell the thing to put it to better use.

It would seem that if the backspacing and offset of the 20" is similar to your spare you they would exhibit similar clearance. However, that's just what I'd check, but then again...20" rims are for ninnys.

I got rid of a set of 16" after markets with 285-75-16's in favor of the ORE 17" wheels. To each his own but I wouldn't trade the 17's for anything...they just make the look of my 00 off road so much better I think.

I shouldn't have showed them, all they want to do is color on the truck now! I can't complain, it keeps 'em busy and it washes off.

Look at it this way, you get a free, multi-color psychedelic paint job whenever you want, and all it has to do is rain, and it's time for a new one. The gift that keeps on giving. I am sure the girls REALLY enjoy coloring the truck as well. Not something anyone else would let them get away with.

Might wanna point out to them that doing YOUR truck is cool. Doing someone elses truck may not be a good idea.

Shoot. Chalk it up to my ignorance, lack of sleep, or whatever, but I just stuck my foot halfway down my throat there, forgetting that ORE's came factory with 17's....
