Dana 44 rebuild
Right as my truck hit 240,000 miles my frontend started making a HORRIABLE Grinding/clunking noise. So I replaced both front U-joints, wheel bearings & outter stubs (didn't help). Now I guess its in the inside so I'm gonna rebuild it. But I want to upgrade it. What would be a good locker for a daily driven truck? & how will it effect drivability & milage? I've read so much and everybody says something different so I need help.

Any selectable locker will do, (ARB, Ox, E-locker). If you go with a full time locker like detroit, the drive shaft will always turn which will turn the chain in the transfer case (wear and tear, plus reduced MPG's)
