Hey all! I'm a new member and I've recently come across an engine on craigslist. It is out of a 99 ram 3/4 ton 4x4 is all the owner could tell me. whether this is right or not I have no idea. so my question is what transmission will fit onto this engine? auto or stick it doesnt matter I just need to know which ones will bolt up to the engine without any modification. Also the engine is going in an older muscle car so I do NOT need the awd trans. the engine will be slightly modded but daily driven a short drive(heads and cam, and some bolt ons) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

47 or 48RE, if you are putting it in a 96 or newer truck. Or, NV4500HD.
