I also have Silverstar Ultra's, can't really tell any difference.

The brightness/intensity of the light also depends on what your headlight assemblies look like. If they old and yellow they probably aren't letting all the light pass through that your bulb is capable of.

I've got one that cleans up like new and one that won't clean up at all, gonna buy these pretty soon:

I sat in a chair and one my right arm going up through the top by the battery and my left arm going in by the radiator, one hand to hold the bulb and one hand to put it in and lock it down.

thats what I dont get.... all other types of bulbs that come in different color temps use gases instead of a filament to make light... the light in these come from the filament so how do they get different color light? maybe the filament is made of some unusual metal and thats what shortens its life? or the gas alters the color?
I read that the whole gases in the bulb thing was just marketing hype as far as making them any brighter than other halogens...I however cant say for myself since I have never tried them... they were too much $$

I decided to go with 4400k HIDs for 28 bucks for my projectors... much brighter and work well with my setup.
6000k attracts other drivers eyes with hid's...4400k is oem color and less annoying and likely to get me flashed at.

I bought the stock set with side markers from those guys. Parts where great, looked exactly like the stockers, fit right in, and are a HELL of a lot better than the old, broken, and yellowed guys that were in there... I can actually SEE at night now. Don't forget to aim them once installed.

Glad to see someone didn't get ripped off by am auto. I sure did. I have bought a set of tow mirrors and one was distorted. I asked for an exchange and was told they were out if stock on the right side mirror I needed to exchange. The said they would gladly give me a partial refund if I returned it. I looked on their website and it said they had them in stock. I ask for and exchange again and was told the same thing and if I wanted to I could return both for a full refund. So I returned both and so far no refund if and no returns if emails I've lost sent. Don't deal with them!!!!

Mine weren't $58. I ordered the powered expendable tow mirrors. The one that flip up on the ends. They were $239.95.
