Default help

OKay i got a 1994 dodge ram 1500 4x2 with the 318 in it. The problem is if i have the blower motor running and i tryin to roll windows down or up with the button the air bag and brake light both turn on and the blower motor shuts off and the windows stop working too. the only way you can get any of them to work is if the key is on accesory, it doesnt happen all the time just more and more frequently.

Possibly an ignition switch problem? How is your charging system?

That's what I'm thinking it is we've replaced it twice before but it's never done this the last time it was worn out. The charging system is fine I mean the lights dim down when you use the windows up/down button

I don't think there are any adjustments to the ignition switch.... install it, and yer done.... Have you checked the wires in the column? If you have tilt wheel, they like to get pulled out of their sockets.

I know it's install and done, im pretty sure it's what's wrong but I haven't checked any of the wires. What could cause the lights to dim I was thinking just a old battery

Yeah, weak battery, or weak alternator. Your local parts store should be able to test those for ya.
