Default v10 cutting out

Hello i have a 97 ram 2500 with a v10 it has 173,000 miles on it the problem i am having is it cuts out randomly it will cut out no matter what speed i am going and sometimes it stalls while sitting at a red light. If i give it a little gas while sitting still in drive it does not stall. When driving at highway speeds it will cut out randomly but will come back if i let off the gas then hit it again. The truck has been doing this on and off for a couple of months sometimes it will even go a week or so without cutting out at all.Things i have done are cleaned the throttle body, replaced the air filter, checked for vacume leaks, inspected spark plugs and plug wires. Engine is not running hot runs around 195.Any help will be greatly appreciated this has been driving me crazy don't want to just start replacing parts unless that is going to be the only way to find the problem.also no check engine light or codes.

Check your fuel pressure. I had a similar problem with mine and it ended up being the fuel pump assembly.

When it cuts out, does the tach drop to zero really quick and then bounce back? Do you ever have trouble restarting it after it stalls?

Could be an ignition issue. Maybe a crank angle sensor.

I have always wondered do the v10 rams jump and slide around corners like everyone says they do?

What??? If I punch it, you better believe its going to slide around. I've drifted mine sideways. It's a chore keeping it going straight if you drive like an asshat

People have always told me not to get the v10 because of some problems and that during city driving it slides and pushes the front end because of it's raw power.
