It IS powerful... but, Chrysler could have eked a LOT more power out of it, without too much trouble.

As with all things, you have to get used to it. That's a heavy hunk of cast iron up front, and has more than enough power to roast the rear tires.... Almost every person that I have talked to that owned a V-10, like them. Aside from the (lack of) fuel economy of course.

I agree completely, I love mine. I think I remember reading somewhere that the power output of the engine had to be limited to 450 lbs/ft of torque because that's the maximum the transmission was rated for. So I could easily believe they reined in the engine from what it could have been.

To the OP: Any luck with your stalling issue?
