the gears work with the tire size.... 4.56 gears with 35" tires would use the same amount of gas as stock 3.55 gears and stock tires or 4.10 gears and your 33" tires... thats why the "Offroad edition" truck came with 33" tires and 4.10 gears...(at least I think they came with 33" tires?)
3.55 gears with 33" tires = using more gas depending on how you drive since your always using more pedal to try to compensate for lack of get up and go and constant downshifting of the tranny.

4.56 gears and 33" tire would use more gas than a stock setup unless your towing possibly..because you would have more power than stock transferred to the ground.

I would get 4.88's, since you say you are gonna go bigger. I plan on 4.88's in mine in the future.
