Minton Motors has a new aftermarket driver side axle shaft for $120 with $25 shipping.

I read this fast the other day and saw everything in the list except for the shaft. This is the route I would go for sure.

go with josh's used stuff by far the cheapest route to get you back on the road.....i know it sucks just looking at your broken truck

thanks for all the replies. I'm gunna check the yards around here this weekend and see what they got.

one quick question though, when it come to the spindle is that the steering knuckle where the bearing goes or is that what they used to call the prop shaft, the piece that connects to the shaft with the u-joint.

Awesome, that means I get to fight with balljoints, my last foray into those did not happen easily and required a lot of cursing and two days worth of work. Hopefully it is not damaged, seeing as how they did not even pull my tire off when they were looking at it.

Kinda sucks I work nights and really cant dig into it till this weekend. Maybe I will get up early this week and start pulling it apart.

If I can't fins some of this stuff I will most likely be PM'ing a few of yall.

Don't worry, I know all of yall like looking at broken stuff so I will post the pictures of the carnage.
