Make sure the rotors are clean, the brake slide pins are greased, and that the lines to the drivers side caliper is intact. Also check tie rods and other steering comp.
Caliper slide pins are the usual suspect for this. I remove them, sand off any scale or rust if there is any & use the high temp grease on them & it usually cures it. I also have a habit of completely flushing all brake fluid when I do a regular brake job anyway - it removes the spongy feeling since the brake fluid naturally absorbs moisture anyway & the flush cures that.
