Default R-134 Manifold mount bracket R134 Leak Help

I replaced the air compressor on my 2000 Dodge ram w\318 motor and the part refered to in the service manual as the "manifold mounting bracket" will not hold a seal. The "manifold mounting bracket" attaches to the top side of my compressor. I cleaned the surfaces with brake cleaner and torqued it to 200inch pounds but i've lost my second can of freon now and am at a loss as to what to do. Does this sound familiar to anyone and can you recommend a solution? I cant find any o-rings or gasket materials referred to in the manual but if I thought something would fix the leak I would try it.

Any suggestions.....anyone?

Air compressor or AC compressor (I assume). Can you post a photo?

As I recall, there should be O Rings on the top of compressor in grooves.

The left side looking from the front of the vehicle is the side that leaks. I found the model number of the compressor to be Sanden SD7H15.

Here is an image also.. When I cleaned the surfaces I did not see any grooves. Thanks in advance

I just put the new gaskets in. I had my brother in law helping do the original compressor swap and he said there were no gaskets. After some research I found the gasket kit at autozone for 7 dollars and now im heading to walmart for some r134a. Thanks for responding but I think i have the leak fixed now.

Different compressor manufacturers seal it off differently. Gasket or O Ring, but it has to have a seal. Hope this fixes the problem.

So far so good. It's holding the freon and blowing cold air. It had no pressure to begin with and it took 34-36 ounces vs the manufactures 32 oz original charge. It blows cold air but I havent heard the clutch turn off yet, not even during the filling. I stopped several times giving it a chance to catch up but it stayed running. Road test tommorow to see if it turns off.

The o-rings I used were the two matching metal rings that had an inner black rubber ring. The o-ring kit had about twenty different small diameter green o-rings which I hadnt come across just by swapping the compressors. Unless I missed something which is par for the course.

The two I found attached to the manifold mount were flattened and probably over torqued.
