Default oil light comes on at hard stop

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 2500 some times if I come to a quick stop my oil pressure drops and my oil light comes on. I just checked my oil level and it was perfect. Any ideas?

Put a mechanical gauge on it, and see if the one in the dash is telling the truth. If it is..... need to drop the pan, and see what's up.

What's the point of being a smart *** when someone has a question/problem.

It's about the same as starting yet another oil pressure related question rather than having searched in the first place. I swear, five years ago the most frequently asked, beat to death topic was the plenum and today it's the oil pressure gauge. I'm betting the IAC will be next year's.

Sometimes a little humor is good. Recognizing humor is priceless.

(VW - Love the animation!) You forgot to mention the number of oil pressure related threads within the last 2 weeks.

That number is easily somewhere between 20 and 3,000.
