Sorry I couldn't do the search for this my phone is acting funny.

Basically here's what I found but don't know if its worth it, I found a 99 Dakota engine and trans. It's a 5.2 and 4x4 trans. Will that fit in a 94 ram? I think I remember seeing that the newer trans were electronic and the 94 was hydraulic but I can't remember for the life of me. Also if I got the pcm would it work that way?

 

Too much work...... far too many things are different. Yes, the trans is electronic, not hydraulic, and also the instrument cluster wiring is dramatically different. (that pcm wont make your gauges work.....)
