Default Corn gas

I hate fuel with ethanol. I was getting 9.5 running corn gas in town.
Tuned up 2 years ago,
I found a station here in town that refuses to sell corn gas so been getting gas there the last 2 months. Mileage is pretty close to 11 to 12 in town now.

How about your area? What are you running?

I run ethanol too. But every other fill up I use Techron+ . I get worse MPG's when I don't use it, and/or start threads in the wrong section. LOL

I used to get from 10-14 with my 360ci Ram, but i found a new station that sells NO ETHONOL and NON OXYGENATED gas, and i went from having $60 get me around 100mi until i have pushed the gas light long enough, to the same amount of money getting me around 130-150mi until i have pushed the gas light enough. It definately makes a difference.

winter blend gas has a higher ethanol content, always has. Now that it is warmer, the ethanol content has gone down.

Avoid stop and go city driving and you will get better gas mileage. Our trucks eat gas in first and second gears.

Ethanol has less energy by volume than gasoline. You buy fuel by volume. So any ethanol blended fuel will get poorer MPG than straight gas.
