Midway Through Plenum Repair
Ive got the intake and belly off, about to clean the intake and cut the runners. I'm also gonna mod the throttle body while it out.
So far I've only broken the coolant temp sensor, everything else has gimme according to plan.
When I pulled the fuel rails two injectors popped off the rail, I got them out of the intake. They look like they just pop back into the rail. Please tell me this is the case. New injectors are expensive.
The gasket for the plenum plate was competlely gone, only a few little spots remained of old clumped gasket.
Here's some pics

Yes, the injectors just pop in place -- *HOWEVER*, you would be wise to replace all 16 o-rings (upper and lower) lest you risk a leak due to a torn o-ring. They are very, very cheap insurance to prevent aforementioned leakage and a possible engine fire. Install them by lightly coating with oil and rolling them onto the injector. Then, install the injector into the intake before finally installing the fuel rail. Again, lubricate before installation or they'll tear.
injectors do just pop in/out with O-rings. i'd replace all the o-rings. you should be able to get a complete set for not too expensive. lube them with a light coat of vasilene.
