How to remove the fuel rail and injectors from truck?
On another note PCV valve is on Pass. side right? whats on the drivers valve cover. I am going to replace the grommets and the valves i have a breather on the driver side one now. I just want to make sure everything is sealed up right.
PCV on your is on passenger side. Drivers side just gets an elbow and a hose that goes to the air filter housing. Both pieces are available in the "help" section at your (not so) local parts store.
haha yeah i wish there was one closer. So you say its pretty safe to replace my already new pcv valve and both grommets on the valve covers? And how hard do you think it will be to put in new grommets?
You sure about the side? They changed sides in later years. Regardless of that, the breather elbow is part # 47079 in the help section. And it's just a hollow 90% elbow. It's NOT the PCV valve that you should get from the dealer.
I hope that's what it is cause if not i have been running my motor the opposite way and that's why i had oil in my intake?!?!?! haha Why should you get a PCV valve from the dealer the flow rate diffrent?
you could always try a clear piece of hose or make a catch for the pvc line to see if thats were your oil is coming from... someone else here did it and found out it the pvc was drawing oil at a pretty high rate..
