Have a 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 318 going 2 do the timing chain this week with plenum fix and kegger mod + waterpump has any one put a cam in there 318 that gos in with out any mods to the pmc? looking for low and mid range and top an all around cam that would be better than stock just thinking while ill have it a part

In the diy section i cam across a good cam write up made me change my mind on doing a cam just gonna do the 1.7 hs rockers best bang for the buck for me.

Here is a good camshaft. It is called an "RV cam." You will gain gobs of torque and add horsepower.
