Starting issue- hopefully can be solved
I only bought one crank sensor, and it was from autozone. I believe it was a Duralast, though I'd have to check the box to be sure. They only have one type for sale there. I'm going to check the sensor this afternoon or tomorrow. If I had the symptoms, then they went away for a few days, and now they're back, then I'm thinking maybe I got a defective part, or the wiring to the sensor is bad.

It's more than likely bad. Match it up to the old one if you still have. Make sure it's the same length. Get one from dealer if you can. If not, at least get a Standard Motor Products brand.
I did notice that the new one was a bit shorter than the original one, does that matter? The guy from AZ double checked when I brought that up when purchasing the replacement, and he said that was what they had. I know some replacement parts like starters are slightly different sizes than the original.
