Default Oil leaking down front of engine after plenum repair

Well I replaced the stock plenum with an aluminum unit and now I have oil leaking from somewhere in the front of the engine. I cant see exactly where it's coming from but it is running down both sides of the timing chain housing from somewhere above that I cannot see. I'm guessing the front manifold gasket isn't sealing right and the oil is coming from there?
Damn! Looks like I'm going back in? What a PITA!!!!

spray it out with brake cleaner and see if you can see the leak. fill it with RTV.

did you use silicon on the edges of the front intake seal? if not theres probly small gaps between the front seal and the 2 cyl heads where oil can seep through.

Hey at least yours didn't completely fail around the coolant ports like mine did. I just now got last bit of the coolant out

Did you follow directions in any form of a manual(free download or Haynes)? And cut some old bolts to help make lining up the intake a lot easier? As I know for sure is in the end all plenum thread?

Yeah I followed the direction I got on this forum including using the old bolts as guides. Although I now think I over torqued the bolts. I just tested my torque wrench and my buddy's and my bolts are torqued to
20-22 ft. lbs. Good thing is none of them broke off.

Not while you were torquing them anyway.... Heat cycle them a couple times though.... and you may get a surprise.

Mines doing it too but on the back side! tried a thick bead of RTV instead of the failed valley gasket and still leaks but not as bad. Did you fix your problem?
