Ok gents, did some harness testing. All wires inside the pan checked ok, less than 4 ohms resistance. 5 volt signal from pcm to 8 pin connector good, 4.5 ohms. Ground wire from 8 pin to pcm 115 ohms!!!! Also, signal wire around 20 ohms resistance. I think we are almost there! Would you recommend just adding a ground between pcm and 8 pin since that ground runs other circuits?

That's all fine and well(the harness is good at this point) , but what about the actual pressures? Needs to be checked with a scanner or gauges.

Actually, there is one common 12v power wire, and one five volt (for governor pressure sensor....) and all the rest are technically grounds.. controlled by the PCM. I see that the sensor also has it's own personal ground.... that goes thru two splices....... S121, and S118, which are connections for the ground circuits for what looks like EVERY sensor on the truck....... If you have high resistance on that one...... might wanna check the splices. 118 looks to be right above the engine, almost dead center, 121 is near injector 5.

Well guys, we checked for the splices could not find any. We added a ground from 8 pin to pcm. Also replaced signal wire. Drove the truck for well over an hour and hasn't acted up yet!! He will be driving it to and from work the next few days. That will be the real test. I do feel pretty confident about the repairs. I will post again when we get some more time on it to let you guys know how it worked. Again, thanks for all the advice!

We ran the truck with a mechanical gauge hooked to the governor port. All checked out ok, even when it was acting up with the code active.

Ok then. There is part of the harness that runs behind the wheel cover in back of the driver side wheel too. Don't know if you checked or say that one. It's behind the wheel well liner down low.

Well, it acted up again this afternoon. I give up. Seems like it acts up every time he drives home from work at almost the same spot. Now its acting up without setting a code. Its like its heat related.

Yeah, installed the BW sensor and solenoid, checked and repaired harness from 8 pin to pcm, replaced tps for the he'll of it. Also drove truck with mechanical gauge hooked to governor port. I don't know the next step is and unfortunately rebuilding is not an option right now.

When it does happen, it seems like I am always letting off the gas pedal. Ususally happens when I am slowing down for a stop light or some jackass pulls out in front of me. Anyways, just thought this might help if anyone has ever heard of this. I know for a fact that it never acted up while increasing speed.
