You will do well to look for a home made dual fan electric conversion sire set up then simply use it for lights instead. I posted one a while back, search by my name & go back at least 6 months. It is very detailed. As for the box, I used an outlet box made for 3 110 volt wall switches from home depot. I made a waterproof lid from another part of a similar box then made a silicone seal for it that is removable (ask me how) then used common bees wax around the wires going into the box. It stays bone dry inside. I can not say it looks super cool, but it functions all the way through a sloppy Iowa winter.
@ every one else i plan to upgrade the alternator as soon as I can find something better then stock no luck yet.
this little project has been frustrating but I want to get it done correctly. thanks for any and all input so far. i don't want to bag this project.
