seat swap question

Default seat swap question

So Ive searched just about all of the threads on doing the swap on diffrent gen seats.My only question is with 3rd gen seats is the electric hook up the same if not how do you do it?

You would have to look at electrical schematics for each year and compare to see if they wire the same.

Well, the motors and switches are in the seat, right? Seems to me all it would need is power. I can't see that being a big problem, even if the connectors are different or the wiring is absent completely.

Just check the schematics. Stock 2nd gen seats just have power and ground going to them... as I suspect the 3rd gens do as well. I have power/heated Crossfire bucket seats in my 2nd gen. Anything is possible with the right tools and knowledge

Thanks guys,but noone.knows if the plugs are the same?

You have to look and compare schematics. Then cut and move wires around if needed. It's not plug and play dude.

Just cut the plugs off and put on quick disconnects... Simple stuff. Why aren't you done yet?
