Default Mopar Performance PCM

I work at a scrap yard. A 95 Ram came in the other day. I have to check out all the 2nd gen's to see if I can scrounge some parts. This one had a Mopar performance PCM, or at least a sticker above the PCM stating that it did. A 95 is OBD1, mine is a 98. Would the PCM even work on mine? If not, I might take it off and let one of you guys have it cheap.

Truck also had shorty headers, Mopar cast alum valve covers, Accel coil, and a few other odds and ends. Trans fluid looked brand new, but zero engine oil on the dipstick. Plenum plate looked like something you'd find behind the griddle at a really old Waffle House.

Planning on snatching the headers and maybe valve covers. Accel coil worth fooling with?

as far as i know obd1 computers will not work with obd2 systems. its my understanding that the sensors will feed unrecognizable data and the obd1 computer will not be able to understand the data.
but im not 100% sure on that so if im wrong, someone please correct me.

It won't work. Everything reads different. Definitely worth getting ahold of though! I'd try snatching up the header and valve covers though

Not to mention the OBDI computer only uses one connector, and the OBDII fellers have three.....

Alright, so who needs it? Lol. Probably pull it off and post it for sale cheap in another thread / location. Not trying to make huge money off of it, seems a shame to just send it to the shredder, though.

Allright, I'll get the stuff off and post the PCM for sale in the appropriate section. Have to think about the valve covers. Already replaced my gaskets and they don't leak, so may sell those too. I'll skip the coil, pretty sure this isn't the first time I've heard they suck. Besides, stock coil on mine will probably do everything the Accel coil will except be yellow. Lol

On the headers, are they going to be a drag to try and keep them from leaking? Any tips on gaskets and bolts to use?

I would replace the studs when you reinstall them. I may be interested in the valve covers. Get a pick for me if you decide to not keep them.
