Default I'm no wiring genius but....

I just got a set of projector lights a few days ago and installed them. They have completely separate wiring for the led+angel eyes. I connected them straight to my parking light wires. Next was the headlights and I had a little trouble with them but finally got it by switching the connectors in the socket. Everything worked perfect for a couple of days until just an hour ago. I took one of the lights out to adjust the high beam over a little, and when I shut all the lights off the led's stayed on. Not completely on but very dim. So I checked the voltage and all 3 wires coming off the truck had power. When I unplugged the passenger headlight, it changed to 2 wires with power and a ground. Anyways I played with the connectors again and no luck. However If I have everything plugged in, switch off, and I unplug a wire off the back of one of the headlight bulbs themselves, the led's go off. This indicates something messed up with the headlights themselves right?

They look pretty good lit up. The wiring is a different story though.. I see people saying something about grounding to the truck but I'm not exactly sure what wire to ground or if that even applies to this situation. A wire is getting power when it should not be, but only when the lights are plugged into the trucks harness.

Aren't those some of the fellers that come wired wrong from the factory?

Well i figured it out. Well kinda.. There are a bunch of little wires for the led lights inside and you can see them when you take the rubber cover off behind the headlamp bulb. i took a screwdriver and wiggled the led wires around and presto! no more power to the led's while everything is off. I'm guessing an adjuster maybe cut into an led wire? No idea but its working.

I got them off ebay for 135 free shipping. I like that there is no amber reflector. They also come with the hid kit but for some reason I chose not to. I can get a better pic of them on the truck tomorrow
