Yep. Just as it sounds. So I was rinsing the truck off a minute ago, and washed out the bed. Whenever water contacts my bedliner, it makes this funky chemical smell. I can't even really describe it. It only does it with hose water though, not rain.
Any explanations? It is a no-name spray-in.

Sure it's not your garden hose ? I bought a cheap garden hose and the water that comes out smells like burning plastic .
No, not the hose. I can use it any other time other then washing my truck and the water smells fine. I almost wonder if it is something in the city water messing the liner.

No idea. PO had it sprayed. Likely done before the turnover ball hitch was installed. And that has been AT LEAST 5 years.
It's not really a problem, just weird as hell. Been smelling since I bought it 2010.
