HVAC - Accumulator

Wow. That is one of the worst driers I have seen. Wonder what caused it to rust our so badly.
Glad you got it fixed. Having the proper tools is great, but for occasional use, it is not usually a good investment for evryone. The other down side of having this equipment - everybody in the family shows up at your house - when they need some work done! But they do know they have to bring beer!

You need one of these to fix your blend door motor issue most likely. http://www.heatertreater.net/index.html
Fixed the blend door plastic POC with the heater treater.
So I created a tool to get to that PITA screw in the back. Couple vids and pictures here to share.
My tool.
Tool in action, but out of focus. Next video in focus but all done ratcheting.
To get it back in, I took tape to hold the screw in. Angled the motor box in and aligned the blend door axle. Did the front the screw 80%, then got that ratchet tool in there for the PITA one. A/C is under control, sheesh.
Check gear teeth all good and reset the mark per the instructions with heater treater.
Assembled back in there.
Blend door put approximately 50% position by feel. Temp control set to 50%.
Tested on a drive....and perfecto. Just in time for 103F Father's Day weekend.
