For some obscure reason, I just can't find those parts in the 99 parts manual......

Measure the socket, measure the nut too for that matter.

Bought a cheap caliper and measured the socket and the nut. The socket was a 2.5" socket. Looks like the nut is indeed 2-9/16" of an inch. Believe it or not, in a town of 30,000 people, every mechanic shop in town (including a large John Deere Dealership) do not have one, NAPA does, but they want quite a lot for it. Ended up ordering one on ebay for $11 shipped. I guess I won't be back on the road anytime soon.

I'm having difficulty locating the correct bearing in the parts manual. I've circled what could possibly be it, but I'm not sure. It appears what I've circled is the inner bearing, not the outer shaft bearing...

This is what I found, but unsure if its applicable. I'd recommend getting the BOM number off the axle, which iirc is passenger side axle tube:

Step 1. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ram-axles.html

Step 2. Click LAST link in 2nd post.

Step 3. Scroll down to find Chrysler/Dodge Applications (I already looked at the general D60 article and specifics about said lock nut not present).

Pdf file will open and something like page 30 and 31, Item #37.

Hope that helps....
Did you want 34 and 33 for that hub or are you looking for the carrier bearings?

It looks as if I will actually be replacing two bearings, not just one, if I'm reading this correctly.

That's right. Inner and outer rear hub bearings.
