I think i will by the skyjacker 3" lift coils since i will save money from not buying the control arms. fortunately the previous owner put in shocks for a 3 inch lift. Thanks Dycrow27.

If you just buy 2500 springs and they're off a gas motor truck they will only give 1.5 inches of lift. The cummins springs are stiffer and will give you 3 inches of lift. That's what I'm going to do

The lift was already on it when i bought it so i couldn't tell you the difference from stock. Though it seems you know what your doing now. I didn't think 3" would require longer arms and I'm pretty sure I have the stock pitman arm. I think its anything beyond 3" that requires those things.

dycrow what is wrong with spacers? I see thats what has been installed on my truck and it sits and rides good. Are they going to give me problems in the future?

I looked up the 3" fabtech lift out of curiosity and noticed it said recommended tire size 33's. I have 315-75-16 (35's) and the only problem I have is turning sharp. The inside of my all terrains are all chewed up for I need off set wheels or spacers which I don't trust. Not sure what size tire you want to go with but giving you a heads up.

rammit360 the truck is sitting on 315's it currently has a 2" suspension lift and a 1" custom body lift(not hockey pucks). I just want to get the front an 1.5 higher to level the truck.

If you can live with 2" instead of 1.5" buy Hell Bent Steel's 2" spacers. $65 shipped, I ordered mine wednesday, arrived yesterday (friday). Great quality stuff with a very nice/durable looking powder coat.
