^^^^ I thought about getting those hell bent 2" off of ebay because they were cheap but unfortunately it would put me at 3.5" of lift and then i guess i have to get pitman arm and other things.

Shoot them an email and ask them to build you a custom size spacer. They built a set of 1.5" spaecers for my 2500.

An adjustable track bar sure wouldn't hurt... recenters the axle nicely.... if you can make some longer links for the sway bar, that would be preferable to lowering brackets.

I plan on an adjustable track bar for mine down the road, even with only 2" of lift up front, just because the stock ones kinda suck, and I like to be able to tweak and tune my suspension.

Can anyone recommend a good brand for adjustable trac bars?

Thuren (http://thurenfabrication.com/) makes some badass stuff for our trucks.

This is also a good option: http://www.dodgeoffroad.com/store_DORtrackbar.php
He seems to know 2nd Gen's pretty well.

And here's the other big dog in dodge specific steering/suspension upgrades:

I think you would be happy with any of those options.

Also, all of these options are REAL GUYS. If you are unsure about a part you want, call them and they will build you the perfect piece for your application.

^^^^^^ there is some really nice suspension parts in those links I like thuren trac bar for 0-3 inches the most, but man they are not giving them away. Would it be pretty safe to run for about a year with the 3 inch coils and stock trac bar just until I save up the coin?

Yes you would be safe, as long as you understand things like bumpsteer and how your rig will be affected. I daily drove my '72 on 39" bias plys for 2 years, freeway and all, and never got in an accident. Just gotta know what you are driving, and it's limits. And honestly it wont be that big of a deal with only 3" anyway.

^^^that 72 is sweet. I guess the transfer case in those trucks is gear driven and indestructible. Is that beast still yours and in working condition?
