I've soaked it overnight in ob blaster then hit it with liquid wrench. I don't think thats the issue. It feels like. There isnt any room left to get that last inch I need to pop it off.

The slip joint on the intermediate shaft is most likely corroded and full of debris. So it wont compress all the way . Remove the gear box to get the shaft to come out. And get one of these to replace the OEM shaft. http://www.google.com/search?q=borge...ient=firefox-a

Can't,just tryd too&its too dark.So let me try to explain in as much detail as I can.Ok so in the body lift you get a extension for the drive shaft&its suppose to slip in the pinch bolt I made sure I had it aligned correctly but it seems like the extension is too big.Im guessing if I could remove the ujoint that holds the pinch bolt on I could fit it in there by opening the pinch bolt on my vice

Ok...so I stuck a big flat head screw driver in between the slot on the bolt&beat a hammer&got it to open a little bit.So my guess is it's just been on there so long&it was tightened down pretty good so Ill have to heat it up with a torch&then be able to pry it open some more. What do you think?

You do have the bolt OUT correct? Although I know nothing about body lifts or lifts in general, I agree with HeyYou, need pics.

I got the nut completely off, what it is when you take the bolt out of the pinch bolt which attaches to the gear box you have to stick a extension inside of it&the other end on the gear box. When I went to pull the pinch bolt was on really tite like someone had used a impact on it&made it a little too tight.I got a buddy know who works on commercial trucks coming by with his tanks to heat it so we can pry it open a hair.

Anybody got a idea if a 2500 or 3500 shaft will fit?
