Just because the sensors are new...... does NOT imply that they are working properly. Pull the crank sensor and inspect it. A fair few of the aftermarket ones don't mount right, and end up getting chewed up by the flexplate.
Also need to check resistance on your temp sensor when the engine is cold. I had a table of values around here at one point, but, can't come up with it just at the moment.

does anyone have a good place to go to get the governor pressure sensor and solenoid? I've tried looking at advance, autozone, o'reily's and napa and can't find them. hate to go the ebay route and with these being a semi common issue with my transmission i really don't want to do a pull it yourself job at a junkyard

Ok, update time...
Replaced the governor pressure sensor and solenoid, ran better. was misfiring a lot so i took it to the shop because I was getting really frustrated. #1 compression was 30 psi, burnt valve so now I have to tear it apart and get a valve job done. Compression on all other cylinders was good. So I ordered the hughes plenum and figured I'd knock out two birds with one teardown.

Day 1 of teardown, almost to the point of removing the intake manifold. Will post some pics so you guys can see what i'm working with. inside of the intake manifold is pretty bad, also the TB looks really rough. Going to attempt to clean them real well so I don't have to buy more parts. For a $250 truck this thing is getting expensive....
